Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County Faith Relations Committee

Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County, a faith based Christian non-profit volunteer driven organization, builds simple, safe, secure and affordable homes in partnership with selected partner families.
Join people of different faiths, ideologies, and backgrounds who pick up a hammer to help transform the lives of others.
If pounding nails is not for you, here's how you can help:
Ask your pastor or priest to build a prayer network to pray for the volunteers who work side by side with partner families to build their home.
Encourage your congregation to volunteer either as a group or as individuals.
Host a special collection during worship service to help Habitat continue its work of building homes and hope for partner families.
Share the good news about Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County with your friends and neighbors.
Invite a Habitat representative to speak to your congregation about how we build homes and build lives.
Serve on the Faith Relations Committee.
Participate in Habitat for Humanity International Day of Prayer on Sunday, September, 18 2011.
Organize volunteers for construction of a congregation funded home.
